However, making money online isn't as easy as you may think. I bet John Chow took at least a few years to build his US$30,000 monthly pay-check. Here's a big mistake which most amateur bloggers make.
They always have the "making money online is easy" mentality, thinking that Internet Marketing is another get rich fad. Please. Internet Marketing is not a magic wand.
Let me give you a real life example. Michael Phelps can't possibility win 8 gold medals at the Beijing Games 2008 if he don't practiced his swimming well enough for the past 15 years.
In my own opinion, I feel that a blog must be slowly and carefully developed in order to become a money-making blog. One's need to use the correct strategies and having the right mentality.
Learning from multiple sources, having goals and innovating instead of copying will give you a great chance to become a well-respected and famous blogger just like John Chow.
Remember - if you are of the 1% who thinks that Making Money Online is Easy, come on please change you mentality now or else you will lose out in the Internet Arena.

Money Making and Blogging Tips
Amazing that you have this much insight at such a young age. You GET IT. You will go far in life.
I agree, making money online is not a get rich quick thing. You have to build it. Be patient. Work with your blog or online business consistently and it will grow. Stick with it too. If you quit before the traffic starts coming you will miss out on alot.
Dude I just wish I had started blogging when I was your age. Your insights are well beyond your age - keep it up. You might just be the next John Chow!
Yep, it's definitely not easy. It takes quite a bit dedication and time.
Great points, and it is sad that so many newer blogs jump head long into ads and forget about content and building a solid readership base.
